KFP 4H New Animals at the Farm

Some of the kids in the Kinder Farm Park 4-H Livestock Club have gotten their 2024 animals. We have had two new additions since the last newsletter, but plan for more animals to come in the next few months. In our 4-H club we learn about farm animals and the process of raising and caring for livestock.
Dale and Handler
Dale
New Steer at the Farm - This is Dale, being raised by Madison Cassidy. He was born in March 2023 and came from Church View Farms in Millersville. Madison says she loves brushing him and that he is a “cool dude”. Photo Credit Shawna Cassidy.
Blue Snow and Handler
Blue Snow
A New Goat at the Farm - Clara Larsen is raising Blue Snow as a breeding project. Blue Snow is a Kiko goat who was born in July 2023 and came to the farm in December 2023. Clara says she likes that when Blue Snow “eats she always nods her head up and down like ‘Yes’ - it’s like she’s talking!” Photo Credit Annemarie Larsen.
